Is a stepper the same as a stair climber?
No. The names overlap in retail listings, but pedal steppers, vertical climbers and revolving stair machines have different movement paths and space requirements.
How do I check ceiling clearance?
Use the manufacturer’s maximum step height, add the tallest user’s height and allow comfortable overhead clearance. Include nearby lights, beams and sloping ceilings.
What else should I measure?
Check the route through doors and stairs, the operating footprint, safe access around the machine and the floor’s suitability for the installed load.
