BUILD MORE FROM YOUR RACK
Landmine & Rack Attachments
Attachments can turn a rack into a more versatile training station, but compatibility is not universal. Start with tube dimensions, hole size, spacing and loading direction—not the accessory name.
Landmine units
A pivoting sleeve anchors one end of a barbell for presses, rows, squats and rotational work. Floor plates, rack mounts and post-style bases suit different layouts.
Rack-mounted accessories
Dip handles, jammer arms, cable systems, pull-up handles, storage pins and spotter arms add functions without another full machine.
Compatibility first
Nominal rack width is not enough. Match upright profile, hole diameter, hole spacing, mounting depth and the manufacturer’s approved load.
Measure the rack before buying
Upright profile
Measure the outside width and depth of the upright. Common systems use 50 mm, 60 mm or 75 mm tubes, but two racks described with the same rounded size can still differ.
Hole diameter and spacing
Measure the clear internal diameter of a hole and the centre-to-centre spacing. Check both faces used by the attachment; some products need a second pin or rear clearance.
Bar and sleeve fit
For landmines, confirm whether the sleeve accepts Olympic 50 mm bar sleeves, standard bars or both. Check how the base is restrained and whether the bar can sweep through its full arc.
Room and loading path
A landmine bar needs more floor length than its footprint suggests. Jammer arms, dip handles and cable trolleys also need clear travel away from walls, storage and walkways.
Choose by training purpose
- Rows and presses: a simple landmine pivot plus a neutral-grip row handle can cover a large movement range.
- Dips and bodyweight work: prioritise handle spacing, grip diameter, anti-rotation pins and a verified rack rating.
- Cable exercise: check cable ratio, stack or plate travel, pulley height range and whether the rack must be anchored.
- Storage: plate pegs and bar holders add leverage to the rack; load only in positions permitted by its maker.
- Safety: spotter arms and straps are safety components. Use only combinations explicitly compatible with the rack and its published capacity.

SuperStrong rack attachments
The retailer’s guide groups attachments around 75 mm, 60 mm and 50 mm uprights while warning that dimensions and hole patterns determine fit. Treat the rack’s measured geometry as decisive.
Installation and safety checklist
- Identify the rack brand, model and manual if possible.
- Measure upright width, depth, hole diameter, spacing and usable mounting height.
- Confirm the attachment’s approved rack series and maximum load in writing.
- Check whether the rack must be bolted down or stabilised with rear storage.
- Allow clearance for the user, bar path, plates, pins and emergency exit.
- Inspect pins, welds, bushes and fasteners regularly; stop using loose or distorted components.
Do not improvise adaptors for safeties, jammer arms or other high-load parts. An attachment can impose leverage in a direction the original rack was not designed to resist.
Frequently asked questions
Are rack attachments universal?
No. Similar-looking racks can use different tube dimensions, holes, spacing and pin layouts.
Can a landmine damage a barbell?
Poor sleeve fit, grit, sharp edges or extreme loading can mark a sleeve. Keep the pivot clean, insert the sleeve fully and follow both manufacturers’ guidance.
Is a freestanding landmine better?
It can suit a rack-free room and is easier to reposition. A rack mount may be more stable and space-efficient when it is explicitly compatible.
Do attachments reduce the rack rating?
The rack’s headline capacity does not automatically apply to every direction or attachment. Use the lower applicable published limit and follow anchoring instructions.

Rack brand, upright size, hole diameter, spacing and bar sleeve compatibility must be verified exactly. “Rack mounted” never means universally interchangeable.
🇺🇸 United States — Rogue Landmine Single Rig Attachment
Rogue lists a 10-inch, 8 lb attachment with 5/8-inch hardware and a published 315 lb capacity for compatible Infinity or Monster Lite uprights. Confirm the precise rack series and mounting position before ordering.
🇮🇪 Ireland — HIT Fitness Landmine Press Rack Attachment
McSport states that this attachment fits F100 and F200 racks purchased before 2024 and accepts Olympic bars. That narrow compatibility note is exactly why purchase year and rack revision must be checked, not just brand name.
